The first production run will be available in black. If the campaign reaches certain stretch goals, we may introduce additional color options.

Is BoomPods Tag waterproof?

No. Our tag is designed for use inside your vehicle and is not waterproof. Avoid direct exposure to water or heavy moisture.

Can BoomPods Tag handle hot or cold climates?

Yes. the device has been tested to operate reliably from -40°C to 60°C, making it suitable for most environments worldwide.

Does it support fast charging?

Yes. The USB-C port supports up to 33W PPS fast charging, while the USB-A port supports up to 30W. If both ports are used at the same time, total output is 15W (5V/3A) shared is normal speed.

Can it be used in trucks or RVs?

Yes. It works with both 12V and 24V systems, making it compatible with cars, trucks, boats, and many RVs.

How long does the internal battery last when unplugged?

The built-in rechargeable battery can keep BoomPods Tag active for up to 2 months when unplugged.

What is the warranty?

All BoomPods Tag units come with a 1-year warranty from the date of delivery.

Is it compatible with Android or Google Find My?

Our Tag works with both iOS and Android devices.
You can easily pair it through Apple or Android Find My Networks, available on the App Store and Google Play.
The app connects via Bluetooth and lets you locate your device anytime.

Can I pair multiple Tag units to one phone?

Yes! You can link several Tags to the same phone and manage them all in the app.
Both have to use the same network, either Apple Find My or Android Find Hub.
Perfect if you want one for your car, another for your bag, or even your power station.

Do I need a subscription to use BoomPods Tag?

Never.
BoomPods Tag has no monthly fees, no hidden costs, and no data plans required.
Once you buy it, it’s yours, full tracking functionality is included with your mobile device.

How easy is it to install?

Just plug BoomPods Tag into your vehicle’s 12V socket. No wiring, no tools, no installation costs. It starts charging and tracking instantly once you set it up either with Apple Find My or Android Find Hub.
Instructions on how to set it up are included.

How discreet is BoomPods Tag?

Very. It was designed to blend seamlessly into your car’s interior, no flashing lights, no bulky shapes.
Its compact body fits flush in the 12V socket, with only a soft blue LED ring to indicate power.
From the outside, it looks like a premium charger and its tracking function stays completely hidden.

Can BoomPods Tag connect to both Apple Find My and Android Find Hub at the same time?

No, current mobile ecosystems don’t allow dual registration.

You’ll choose your preferred platform during setup:
Apple users: pair through the Find My network.
Android users: pair through the Find My Device (Find Hub) network.
Once paired, your Tag will stay visible in that network for seamless tracking.

Can I switch platforms later?

Yes. You can reset the device and reconfigure it to work with either Apple Find My or Android Find Hub, depending on your current needs.
